Use a Signup Group

Signup Groups can be used either during event creation or directly applied on repeating event creation.

Signup Groups can only be used during event creation. You have to use the /event user signup command if the event already exists.

Event Creation

To use a Signup Group during event creation, navigate to your guilds dashboard and select Create Event on the website. The Signup Group setting is in the Event Setup section. Make sure you have selected the right Signup Template, since Signup Groups are bound to them.

The Discord command /event create does, due to a Discord limitation, not provide a parameter to specify a signup group.

Repeating Event Creation

To apply a Signup Group on a repeating event, navigate to your guilds dashboard and select or create an entry in the Repeating Events section. The Signup Group setting is in the Event Setup section. Make sure you have selected the right Signup Template, since Signup Groups are bound to them.
